America Makes, the Department of Defense’s manufacturing innovation institute for additive manufacturing, announces the 2022 class of America Makes Ambassadors at the 2022 Members Meeting and Exchange (MMX). The Ambassador Program, launched in 2017, recognizes individuals who have continually demonstrated dedication to advancing America Makes and its mission.

Also during MMX, America Makes awarded Dennis Butcher, Ph.D. with the Distinguished Collaborator Award for 2022. The America Makes Distinguished Collaborator Award was established in 2014 to recognize individuals or organizations with a commitment and dedication to advancing additive manufacturing technology, practices and innovation in the manufacturing industry. The recognized individuals are honored for cultivating effective collaborative relationships with academia, government and industry and contributing to the mission of America Makes.
