3D Systems Completes Acquisition of Cimatron

The transaction expands the company's offerings of 3D-printing-centric software.

3D Systems (3DS) has officially competed its acquisition of all shares of Cimatron Ltd. The integration of the software company, according the 3DS, strengthens the company’s portfolio in 3D-printing-centric advanced manufacturing (AM).

Cimatron is a provider of integrated 3D digital fabrication software for manufacturing. Its main platforms are CimatronE and GibbsCAM.
