Additive Manufacturing Industry Summit Announced

The Additive Manufacturing Industry Summit will be held this year in Dayton, OH, from September 20-22. The multi-day event showcases the growing technology and real-world applications in additive manufacturing. Represented sectors include defense, aerospace, medical and industry.

According to the organization, AMIS not only offers the opportunity to meet the best minds in 3D printing, but also witness the work being done first hand. AMIS includes more than 25 presentations on 3D printing and AM from companies including Caterpillar, Autodesk, Concept Laser and Cincinnati, Inc.

“The summit had an interesting mix of individuals attending ­ people from the medical sciences to equipment suppliers and legal knowledge,” said Tim Womer, president of TWWomer & Associates about his previous conference attendance. “A very nice mix of information.”
