The America Makes TRX+ @NIAR (National Institute for Aviation Research) Technical Review and Exchange event will take place July 16-17 at the National Center for Aviation Trainingin Wichita, KS. 

TRX+ is a theme focused TRX (Technical Review & Exchange) event. TRX+ events have less emphasis on project report outs and more emphasis on technical presentations surrounding the chosen theme.

Speakers at the two-day event include Cindy Ashforth of the Federal Aviation Administration, Chris Holshouser of NIAR, and Doug Hall of Battelle.

The technical theme for TRX+ @ NIAR is Qualification & Certification. Numerous topic focus areas will be covered at this event including: surrogate damage generation for laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) defects; degradation of polymer parts deployed in harsh environments; Air Force special topics; and corrosion mechanisms of LPBF materials.

Projects being briefed at TRX+ @ NIAR include: Acceleration of Large Area Additive Manufacturing; Advancing AM Post-Processing Techniques; Advanced Tools for Rapid Qualification; and Manufacturing Engineering Education Program.

The meeting is intended to target engineers, decision makers, and executives.  Members and non-members are welcome to attend. Registration ends July 11.
