Aras has announced a development partnership with Trubiquity, a provider of global managed file transfer (MFT) and business process integration solutions. Together, Aras and Trubiquity will provide a series of solutions that connect the Aras Innovator enterprise PLM suite to Trubiquity’s Cloud-based services for secure collaboration and MFT in the PLM workflow.

The initial offering provides access from within the Aras PLM solution to Trubiquity’s MFT workspace. Users can share, collaborate and manage CAD files, specifications, requirements and other intellectual property in a secure cloud-based environment from within their company specific PLM workflows, according to Aras. This capability enables the seamless exchange of CAD files and related product data among global supply chain partners.
“As companies look for better ways to enable global operations with suppliers and outsourced partners, they need simple ways to manage sophisticated files transfer and collaboration processes while ensuring absolute security of their intellectual property,” says Stephen Koons, CEO and president of Trubiquity. “With Trubiquity’s services inside the Aras business processes, we achieve a very straightforward approach to multi-enterprise integration for highly secure supply chain collaboration.”
