Certiport, a provider of IT certification exams that accelerate academic and career opportunities for learners, announces that Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) exams will be delivered in Pearson VUE test centers around the world. Certiport is a Pearson VUE business, and the change will make ACP exams more available to professionals through a network of 5,600 secure test centers in 188 countries.

These new ACP exam objectives have been redesigned for professionals in consultation with industry subject matter experts to align with current job market requirements. The certification exams will be made available for professionals at Pearson VUE test centers and through OnVUE, Pearson VUE’s next-generation online proctoring platform.

“Offering ACP exams at Pearson VUE test centers, the global leader in computer-based testing, makes them more accessible for professionals and employers, and will provide greater convenience to this market segment,” says Ray Murray, vice president and general manager–IT, Pearson VUE. “Individuals who can solve complex challenges in workflow and design need a way to validate those skills, and ACP exams provide professional-level proof to help them stand out.”

ACP exams for Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit for Architecture, Revit for Structure and Inventor are available immediately in English with additional exams to be released in 2020. To learn more, click here.

“We’ve teamed up with Certiport to make sure the ACP exams measure the right skills at the right time to help individuals advance their careers,” says Jaime Perkins, director of Learning Strategies at Autodesk. “Expanding testing to include online environments provides more students and professionals with the convenience of earning certifications without interrupting their schedules to visit a facility.”

The Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) certifications are designed for professionals and students who possess more advanced skills and can solve complex challenges in workflow and design. ACP is a credential for advanced and professional Autodesk software users who have worked with the software on a regular basis in a professional environment for at least two years or the equivalent to approximately 1,200 hours of real-world Autodesk software experience.

The exams have been modified from their previous format, with new detailed objective domain documents and a selected-response question format. To see the new objective domain documents and learn more about the exams, click here.
