BOXX Technologies announces that APEXX Enigma S3 workstation will be demonstrated at BOXX booth #606 at SOLIDWORKS World 2019, through Feb.13, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX. A Dassault Systèmes Corporate Partner and designated SolidWorks Solution Partner, BOXX will also showcase APEXX T3, an AMD Ryzen Threadripper workstation, as well as GoBOXX mobile workstations, and the APEXX W8R server. BOXX will once again offer the SolidWorks Test Drive, which allows attendees to test systems by bringing along their own assemblies.

“BOXX engineers are SolidWorks users,” said BOXX VP of Marketing Bill Leasure. “That experience ensures a clear understanding of engineering and product design workflows, as well as which configurations provide optimal application performance. Our new APEXX Enigma S3 is the embodiment of that expertise.”

The latest addition to the APEXX S-class line (which includes the APEXX S3), APEXX Enigma S3 features the latest Intel Core i7 or 19 processor overclocked to 5.1GHz.The liquid-cooled system sustains that frequency across all eight cores. Ninth-generation Intel processors offer a performance increase over previous Intel technology, according to the company. Offering all the features of the flagship APEXX S3, Enigma accelerates professional CAD and 3D, and it also delivers optimal support for multi-GPU tasks. Supporting a wider range of GPUs and backed by a 1,000-watt power supply, Enigma is configurable with two full-size GPUs and equipped with a motherboard that offers full bandwidth dual x16 PCIe lanes.

Along with the Enigma S3, attendees can see the APEXX T3 workstation demonstrate SOLIDWORKS 2019, supported by a 32-core Ryzen Threadripper processor. The BOXX booth will also be home to a SolidWorks demonstration featuring the new GoBOXX MXLmobile workstation. Designed for users on-the-go, GoBOXX MXL features a desktop-class, eight-core, ninth-generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA Quadro graphics and up to 64GB of RAM.

Also on hand will be the ultra-thin GoBOXX SLM. It features a six-core, Intel Core i7 processor and professional NVIDIA Quadro graphics on a 15-in. full HD (1920x1080) display. Rounding out BOXX products is the APEXX W8R, a rack-mounted system designed for GPU-accelerated rendering. Featuring an Intel Xeon W processor and configurable with up to eight professional, dual-width NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards, W8R will demonstrate SOLIDWORKS Visualize. In addition to its products and the SolidWorks Test Drive offer, BOXX will also provide information on their SolidWorks User Group (SWUG) sponsorships.

“Our booth is a primary destination for SOLIDWORKS World attendees,” says Leasure. “We offer consultation with experts, allow user participation in our demos, and help SOLIDWORKS users determine firsthand which BOXX solutions will enable them to work faster than ever before.”
