CoreTech System Introduces Moldex3D R13.0 Simulation Solution

The software provides plastic simulation and validation for automotive, medical, consumer industries and more.

3D CAE simulation solution provider CoreTech System has released Moldex3D R13.0 for plastic validation and optimization. The software is ideal for the automotive, digital electronic, medical, consumer product industries and more.

Moldex3D R13.0 enables users to visualize melt font behavior inside mold cavities and predict potential molding problems before manufacturing. It can also validate design changes to work more efficiently, the company states.

Updates to the newest version of Moldex3D include plastic filling and packing simulation, advanced hot runner simulation and cooling channel simulation. There are also enhanced plastic applications such as part and mold deformation simulation, fiber-reinforced plastic simulation, compression molding simulation and structural assessment with FEA (finite element analysis) software.

Moldex3D R13.0 also has a comprehensive material databank, with more than 6,500 thermoplastic and thermoset materials and improved model surface rendering kernel efficiency.

“Quality and cost are two of the most significant success factors in product development and manufacturing. In addition to conventional plastic applications in the industries, the emerging market demands also require quick response manufacturing. The release of Modelx3D R13.0 has emphasized back-to-basics problem analysis and troubleshooting capabilities. This is helping our customers tackle critical molding issues to reach optimal production efficiency. Quality assurance and cost management that can be achieved effectively in a short time period,” said Venny Yang, president of CoreTech System.
