Creaform unveiled a redesigned and enhanced Web site for its Handyscan noncontact 3D laser scanner. The site is designed to be visually appealing and easy to navigate. The site launched in English and French and will soon be available in Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish. The freestanding handheld device connects via a FireWire cable to a laptop computer. It can be used for reverse engineering, and product inspection.
“With a constantly growing market presence and over 36 resellers worldwide, it had become clear to us that Creaform needed to have a marketing tool with global reach to improve overall communications and showcase the many benefits and possible applications of our technology to customers, partners and prospects around the world”, said Oscar Meza, Creaform’s vice-president of worldwide sales and marketing.
