CST Enhances Radar Cross-Section Simulation Capabilities

The 2015 version of STUDIO SUITE includes upgrades for mapping and analysis.

Computer Simulation Technology (CST) is exhibiting new features for radar cross-section (RCS) simulation in the upcoming version of CST STUDIO SUITE 2015 at European Microwave Week, which runs from October 7 to 9.

The 2015 release expands the RCS capabilities by adding the ability to produce RCS maps with the shooting and bouncing ray asymptotic solver. These maps allow engineers a more detailed view of a platform’s cross-section to help identify potential scatterers.

Also added to CST STUIDO SUITE 2015 is support for angle and frequency-dependent radar absorbing material coatings.
