Digi-Key, Omron Expand Distribution

Components distributor Digi-Key Electronics, a provider of electronic component selection, availability and delivery, and Omron Corporation today announced they have expanded their engagement to now include all of Asia.

“We are very excited about this global contract with Digi-Key, and realize this is a great opportunity for both companies to further grow our mutual business, particularly in Asia,” said Kenji Matsunami, company president, Electronic and Mechanical Components Company for Omron.

Asia was the last region remaining for a full global authorization between the two companies. Omron’s wide selection of components will now be marketed and shipped around the world.
