Dyndrite, providers of the core accelerated computation engine used to create next-generation digital manufacturing hardware and software, and DNA.am, an additive manufacturing software company, will showcase an integrated Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) that brings materials and process traceability to serial production using additive manufacturing.

DNA.am will be on hand during the Formnext 2021 exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany, to discuss their integrated solution. The combined software solution aims to streamline and digitalize AM process control and material traceability in compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP.

“Process and materials traceability are critical components to advancing the use of additive manufacturing with key adopters in aerospace, defence, medical and other highly regulated markets,” says RamKumar Revanur, CTO, DNA.am. “Our work, combined with Dyndrite’s Engine and automation capabilities enable us to develop an MES solution that will play a key role in scaling additive manufacturing and satisfying the needs of the most rigorous use cases.”

DNA.am, a part of The Fitfactory group, develops MES software solutions specifically for additive manufacturing and has a customer list that includes Airbus, Safran, WiPro and RICOH as well as AM bureaus and research organizations. The company provides solutions that manage AM build planning and provides complete powder traceability, with batch splitting, control of blending and powder recovery management.

“DNA.am is solving one of the key tenets required to move AM from a prototyping technology into true serial production, traceability,” says Harshil Goel, CEO, Dyndrite. “They are a part of a new and growing ecosystem of solutions providers taking advantage of the Dyndrite Engine to solve the most pressing issues facing the AM industry as it moves forward into what we see as the next frontier, serial production.”
