EOS North America introduces the INTEGRA P 450, an industrial polymer 3D printer. The INTEGRA P 450 is a mid-high temp powder bed 3D printer combining ease of use with flexible production features. It is suitable for both single print use and true serial production additive manufacturing.

The INTEGRA P 450 works at process temperatures up to 300°C. EOS says the new 8-zone quartz heating system allows each zone to be independently controlled for enhanced precision, consistent quality, and more efficient use of build volumes. The print chamber was designed to enhance thermal uniformity during builds, helping it achieve production-caliber performance.

The INTEGRA P 450 offers wide latitude in the SLS materials it processes, allowing it to be chosen more often as an AM device of choice.

The modular design of the INTEGRA P 450 includes an exchangeable optics tray and build volume, to enhance serviceability and reduce downtime. An integrated thermal imaging camera provides real-time thermal analysis of part beds and recording of the entire build process. A new dual-roller recoating system applies material with a speed of 0.4 meters per second.

EOS says the software included in the INTEGRA P 450 was designed for industrial 3D printing workflows. New plane segmentation capabilities allow for different layer thicknesses between 0.10 mm and 0.18 mm. Combining a 120-Watt CO2 laser with a high-speed scanner, the system reaches a scan speed of up to 12.7 m/s. A 70W laser is an option.

The INTEGRA P 450 is bundled with EOS IntegraBUILD and EOSPRINT 2.1. Materialise Magics is an optional recommendation for use.

Orders for the EOS INTEGRA P 450 are now being taken in North America.
