ExOne Production Centers Receive ISO 9001:2008 Certification

This demonstrates a strong customer focus, commitment of top management and constant improvement, the company states.

The ExOne Company, a provider of 3D printing machines and products, has received ISO 9001:2008 certification for its services centers in North Huntingdon, PA, and Troy, MI. This designates that these facilities’ quality management systems meet the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It also makes all of the company’s U.S. centers ISO 9001:2008 certified.

The 9001:2008 standard has eight quality management principles, the company states. These include a strong customer focus, commitment of top management, a process approach and continuous improvement.

At its production centers, ExOne offers pre-production and printing services. The company has its U.S. centers located in Washington, Texas, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

“Receiving ISO certification demonstrates that ExOne’s binder jetting 3D printing technology consistently meets our customers’ expectations and product quality standards for industrial usage,” said Tim Pierce, chief operating officer, U.S., ExOne. “By earning this certification at all of our North American facilities, ExOne customers recognize that they can achieve a high-level of service and quality regardless of their business region or printing application.”
