The PCI-1735U digital I/O and counter card from the eAutomation Group(Cincinnati, OH) of Advantech Co. is a universal PC-bus card with 32TTL-level digital input channels, 32 TTL-level digital output channels,and three programmable counter/timer channels.

To provide output driving capacity, the digital I/O channels usedriver/buffer circuits, which require lower input current than regularTTL circuits. The card’s 8254 programmable counter/timer provides three16-bit counter/timer channels. Other features include  high-outputdriving capacity, low-input loading, user-configurable clock source,and a selection of wiring and signal interface boards.
