LS Research Expands Capabilities with EMC Chamber, Prototyping Laboratory

Facility includes 5-meter EMC testing chamber, as well as on-site rapid prototyping and CNC machines parts.

Wireless product developer LS Research has completed a 5,500 sq.-ft. expansion to its Cedarburg, WI facility. The new lab includes a 5-meter electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing chamber and new prototyping  center.

The EMC chamber, according to LS Research, includes an isolated control room with the latest technologies in test equipment and enables larger product testing. The chamber is listed with both the Federal Communication Commission and Industry Canada for compliance standards.

LS Research’s product design prototyping lab gives clients access to on-site rapid prototyping, casting and computer numerically controlled (CNC) parts.

“Our continued growth as a company is made possible through the success of our valued customers,” said Bill Steinike, president of LS Research. “Our investment in the areas of EMC certification and testing, as well as our product design lab, ensures we will offer even higher levels of value, expertise, and capabilities to our customers moving forward.”
