MapleSim Models Now Available to LABCAR Users

The models can be integrated into hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Maplesoft and ETAS K.K. have announced a successful integration between hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and MapleSim. This means that users can incorporate MapleSim models directly into the LABCAR testing environment.

LABCAR is an HIL testing system for automotive electronic control units. According to the company, it is an easily scalable application that is well-suited for integration with third-party hardware, software and simulation models. The MapleSim technology can also help produce fast simulation code without diminishing model quality.

“Everyone benefits when companies like ETAS and Maplesoft support the FMI standard for model exchange and co-simulation,” says Laurent Bernardin, executive vice president and chief scientist at Maplesoft.  “The seamless integration of MapleSim models in LABCAR makes it easy for engineers to leverage the strengths of both tools, without having to spend time trying to manually make the tools connect.”
