HighRES, Inc. (La Jolla, CA), has released version 4.0 of its HighRESfor Rhino integrated reverse engineering and inspection softwareplug-in eliminates the need to move outside of Rhino to perform go/nogo integrated inspection and measurement tasks. With HighRES for Rhino4.0 you can digitize or inspect data directly in Rhino from RobertMcNeel and Associates as you use your FARO, ROMER, Microscribe or 3DCreator portable CMM.

Enhancements to the HighRES plug-in include the ability to inspect andmeasure point deviation back to your original CAD drawing as well asthe ability to analyze and review the distance between selected pointsand a surface. Additionally, its HighRES Hold Cutplane capabilityenables you capture profile sections for inspection purposes quickly.
