Recently, NAFEMS says it asked for input from the engineering analysis community regarding how they felt about NAFEMS' plans for next year's NAFEMS World Congress. The message is clear, according to NAFEMS, which reports that more people are confident they can take part if the Congress takes place later in 2021.

So, NAFEMS made that change. The NAFEMS World Congress 2021 (NWC21) will now take place October 25-29, 2021 in Salzburg, Austria.

This will be the first hybrid NAFEMS World Congress, available to attend online from around the globe, as well as on-site in Salzburg.

By moving the date to later in 2021, the organization says it is confident that the in-person aspect of the event will be “much more significant and accessible.” The goal, according to NAFEMS, is to give everyone the “best opportunity to be part of this flagship international event.”

Call for Abstracts

Now that the dates have shifted, there is now more time to submit abstracts and be a part of this ground-breaking event, NAFEMS says. The abstract deadline is now April 16, 2021, although NAFEMS invites anyone interested to submit at any time before then.

Organizers are seeking abstracts covering every aspect of engineering modeling, analysis and simulation.

Abstracts for the 5th International SPDM Conference and the International Multiphysics Simulation Conference should be submitted using the same process.
