3DBOXX 4120 boasts 10% performance increase.

BOXX Technologies introduced the 3DBOXX 4120 a compact, professional workstation featuring the fourth-generation Intel Xeon processors E3-1200 v3 product family and Intel’s fourth-generation Core processors. According to the company, these products offer a significant performance increase over previous Intel processors while also providing better power efficiency.

The integration of the new processors enables 3DBOXX 4120 to offer a 10% performance increase over its predecessor, the 3DBOXX 4050, the company says. The workstation also features advanced liquid cooling and a new compact chassis, ensuring quiet operation while making it ideal for space-constrained environments. It includes a professional NVIDIA graphics card (Quadro or high end GeForce GTX) and solid state drives (SSDs).

The workstation can support engineering, architectural, and product design applications including Dassault Systems SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, and other frequency driven applications.

“Because BOXX specializes in professional workstations, we know that businesses require the latest technology and innovation for greater efficiency and productivity,” said Shoaib Mohammad, BOXX vice president of marketing and business development. “The integration of new Intel processors based on Haswell micro architecture in the 3DBOXX 4120, coupled with our new space-saving chassis, liquid cooling, SSDs, and NVIDIA GPUs, provides architects, engineers, and visualization pros with maximum performance in a minimum size “all at a value price.”
