Nexa3D announces the acquisition of XYZ Printing’s SLS business, inclusive of technology, distribution and service. Effective immediately, Nexa3D will add the MfgPro230xS and MfgPro236xS printers to its powder bed product portfolio, expanding access to SLS printing technology to its combined customer base.

Over the past 5 years, the XYZ Printing technology has been adopted by a range of customers. The MfgPro230 and MfgPro236 produce polymer components with mechanical and thermal properties. Both printers use an open material platform and are compatible with a range of nylon powders, made for higher temperature applications.

Both printers use SLS printing technology. The MfgPro236 xS has features like 21-hour cycle speed, 60 watt laser, and 0.2 mm accuracy, combined with an open powder portfolio. The MfgPro230 xS has 24-hour cycle speed, 30 watt laser, and a range of materials, and it is built for thermoplastic part production

Both printers offer a range of materials including PA11, PA12, PBT and PP, along with TPU88 and TPU75. Additionally, both systems are compatible with titanium and steel cold metal fusion materials.
