NexGen Ergonomics Offers HumanCAD v2.0 for 3D Modeling

NexGen announced the release of HumanCAD 2.0, its next-generation digital human modeling platform. The solution's new human modeling software architecture includes a more intuitive interface, a plug-in system, new inverse kinematics, and more.

HumanCAD 2.0 is a human modeling solution that creates digital humans in a three-dimensional environment in which a variety of ergonomic and human factor analysis can be performed. According to the company, the solution aids users with the design of products and workplaces by determining what humans of different sizes can see, reach, or lift.

Release 2.0 includes easy posing of mannequins with forward and inverse kinematics; dynamic distances and angles; vision analysis; and reach analysis.
