PTC Launches PTC Systems Engineering Solution

The platform provides tools for rapid exploration and accelerated design, the company states.

PTC has revealed the PTC Systems Engineering Solution, purpose-built to help organizations reduce risk and accelerate innovation, according to a press release.

The platform provides a complete set of tools to rapidly explore and accelerate design and delivery of products. It combines the functionalities of the PTC Integrity family of application lifecycle management (ALM) products with software from Atego, a subsidiary of PTC. The solution has the following applications:

  • PTC Integrity for system requirements and validation.
  • Atego Asset Library, which offers collaborative asset management and reuse.
  • Atego Modeler for scalable architectural modeling and model-based systems and product line engineering.
  • Atego Process Director enables users to have rich process authoring and deployment with out-of-the-box systems and engineering best practices.
Design capabilities include requirements engineering, system design and design options analysis. Users can also reuse system artifacts for requirement, model and tests, modular design and product line modeling. Validation capabilities offer model verification, test management, traceability and governance.
