Sciaky to Release Additive Manufacturing Systems

The solution is ideal for creating prototypes that require high-grade metals such as Inconel and titanium.

Additive manufacturing solutions provider Sciaky Inc. has stated that it will be offering its electron beam additive manufacturing (EBAM) systems for purchase. Delivery will be available as early as September 1.

Sciaky’s manufacturing services are ideal for large-scale manufacturing of prototypes made out of metals such as titanium, tantalum, stainless steel and Inconel.

Deposition rates of Sciaky’s EBAM process range from 7 to 20 lbs/hr, variant on part geometry and selected material. The build envelop is 19 x 4 x 4 feet, allowing manufacturers to create large parts and structures.

“Manufacturers, for the first time, will be able to utilize Sciaky’s revolutionary additive manufacturing technology to produce production parts and prototypes in their own facility,” said Mike Riesen, general manager of Sciaky, Inc. “The possibilities are endless.”
