Harmonic Software, Inc.(Breckenridge, CO) has announced the SigmaPlot Interface Toolbox forO-Matrix. This new toolbox integrates the numerical and computationalpower of O-Matrix with SigmaPlot, the widely deployed technicalgraphing program, significantly enhancing each application according tothe company.

The SigmaPlot Interface Toolbox for O-Matrix enables users to createSigmaPlot graphs of O-Matrix data, transfer data back and forth betweenO-Matrix and SigmaPlot, and run SigmaPlot macros from the O-Matrixenvironment. According to the company, the SigmaPlot Interface Toolboxis especially useful for technical computing professionals that havedemanding data analysis requirements and need to generatepublication-quality plots and graphs.

The SigmaPlot Interface Toolbox also expands the capabilities ofSigmaPlot, transforming it from an interactive plotting tool to atechnical computing and data visualization environment, complete withthe ability to animate SigmaPlot graphs. Simultaneously, it substantially expandsthe scope of plot types that O-Matrix can generate.

The SigmaPlot Interface Toolbox is implemented as a set of O-Matrixscripts that use OLE/COM automation to communicate data and commandsbetween SigmaPlot and O-Matrix.
