Stratasys Launches New PolyJet 3D Printers

The two systems offer solutions for the consumer goods, research, medical and prototyping industries.

Stratasys, a provider of 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, has launched two new PolyJet-based printers. The Objet30 Prime and Objet Eden260VS are suitable for both desktop and professional applications.

The Objet30 Prime desktop printer is, according to the company, the most advanced PolyJet desktop 3D printer and offers an unparalleled combination of prototyping versatility and suitability for workgroups.

The printer includes 12 material options, which include rubber-like and bio-compatible materials. Users can also prototype soft-touch parts for a look and feel to end-use soft materials such as gaskets, plugs and seals. The Objet30 Prime has a build size of 11.57 x 7.55 x 5.85 in.

Also available is a draft mode print option, which enables 36-micron layer 3D printing. This allows for printing with the most time and material efficient models and parts.

The ObjetEden260VS introduces the first soluble support removal process for PolyJet technology. With this feature, users can create delicate, finely-detailed models with small cavities. This capability is compatible with VeroGray, VeroBlue, VeroClear and VeroWhitePlus materials.

This printer is ideal for users who are in the consumer-good design, research and service bureau industries. It offers high-quality precision prototyping with 16-micron layers and a build envelope of 10 x 9.9 x 7.9 in.
