taulman 3D Announces New Filament Line

The material is made from the Eastman Amphora 3D polymer.

Eastman Chemical Company has entered a collaboration with taulman 3D and Aleph Objects to introduce new, advanced materials and 3D printers to the industry. Some of these products include taulman’s n-vent material, which is made with Eastman’s Amphora 3D polymer. It is compatible with Aleph Object’s LulzBot Mini for home printing or the LulzBot TAZ for professional use.

The n-vent material, according to the company, is suited for creating aesthetic parts such as vases and desktop items. Its main characteristics include heat resistance, low shrinkange and high tensile strength.

“Collaborations like the one between taulman 3D and Aleph Objects are why Eastman is involved in the 3D printing market,” said Alex Dudal, market development representative, Eastman Chemical Company. “These two companies are key leaders in this market from a hardware and filament perspective, and collaborating with them allows us to bring Eastman Amphora 3D polymer to a broader audience in the right way.”
