Aluminium NX2 is PC builder’s new foundation for ultra-compact high-performance workstation desktops.

Velocity Micro, builder of enthusiast desktops, laptops, high-performance computing solutions and professional workstations announces the NX2—a new aluminum Small Form Factor chassis—and the Velocity Micro LiquiCool 8, a new All-in-One cooling solution. Designed to pack next-gen hardware into a small footprint possible without sacrificing thermals or airflow, the NX2 is ideal for bprofessional workstations.

Designed to maximize component performance within all of the PC builder’s custom chassis for cooling and acoustics with zero maintenance, the LiquiCool 8 AIO immediately becomes an integral element of any performance-oriented build. Configurations with the NX2 will start around $999 and begin shipping in February. LiquiCool 8 systems begin shipping immediately.

“Taking the extreme performance that’s been our trademark and getting it into the smallest footprint possible has long been an ongoing goal of ours,” says Randy Copeland, president and CEO of Velocity Micro. “I’m excited about what we’ve been able to do along that path with the NX2, carrying on the work we began a decade ago with our Smallblock chassis. With the LiquiCool 8, we’ve developed a closed loop cooler designed for the fit and aesthetics of our entire product line.”

Features of the NX2 chassis include:

  • all aluminum and tempered glass design with a water-washed brushed finish, both for heat dissipation and aesthetics;
  • recessed front I/O with USB-C to keep you connected without detracting from the clean design;
  • top-mounted magnetic handle easily pops in and out for quick and simple transport;
  • tool-less side panels for easy upgrades; and
  • support for mITX motherboards, full length graphics and liquid coolers.

All Velocity Micro systems ship from and are supported in Richmond, VA.
