voxeljet AG Acquires PropShop

The transaction will help expand voxeljet's 3D printing and scanning services.

voxeljet AG, a provider of 3D printers and printing services, has acquired PropShop Ltd.

PropShop will become voxeljet UK, a subsidiary of the company, and will continue to offer 3D printing, scanning and manufacturing services, a press release states. James Enright, founder of PrintShop will become voxeljet UK’s managing director and vice president for Consumer Markets.

“We have a longstanding relationship with Propshop and are impressed with the business James [Enright] and his team have developed over the years,” said Ingo Ederer, CEO of voxeljet. “Propshop’s innovation, creativity, and advanced experience with our 3D printing technology has made it a leading provider of sophisticated and complex content to the entertainment industry. These attributes and award-winning capabilities have presented Propshop with several new and very exciting consumer-related opportunities in the on-demand parts services market uniquely suited for large scale 3D printing production.
