Growing complexity and more discriminating customer demands has made the already difficult job of designing on-point products even more daunting today. Digitizing the product development process, including the creation of digital twins or digital representations of physical products, is seen as a way uplevel design practices given the ability to simulate and optimize products well before spending time and money on building physical prototypes.

In fact, in advanced industries like automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing, almost 75% of companies have already adopted digital twins as a way to safely and cost-effectively simulate, predict, and optimize product performance for data-driven decision-making.
