Eurocom, a provider of mobile workstations, is now offering 2TB Samsung 850 Evo and 2TB Samsung 850 Pro solid-state drives (SSDs) as a storage option for its M5 Pro system.

The computer weighs 2.6kg, and can be equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GPU (graphics processing unit), an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 32GB of SODIMM (small outline dual inline memory module), 3K or 4K display and one of several operating systems. Eurocom currently offers Windows and Unbutu formats.

These Samsung drives, according to the company, are ideal for Intel's Smart Response SSD-caching and Intel Rapid Start technology.  This setup is for intelligent caching that monitors data and caches the most frequently accessed data to an SSD. RAID 0/1 is also supported for increased performance or redundancy.

Additionally, the Eurocom M5 Pro supports four physical drives and is prewired for 3G/4G/LTE modules.
