LMS Presents Engine Simulation Software at Trade Show
Screen shot from LMS software

LMS simulation solutions make it possible to study powertrain systems—from sub-systems and components to the global engine architecture. LMS will be exhibiting at the SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition in Rosemont, Ill., on Oct. 6 and 7, 2009, as part of the Truck Tech France Pavilion, booth 607.

LMS provides a combination of 3D and 1D system simulation solutions that are made to match commercial vehicles challenges, such as:

  • Optimizing fuel consumption, emissions, drivability, and comfort
  • Developing technologies required to reach the emission standards
  • Shortening the design and the calibration of control systems
  • Simulating engine dynamic performance and accurately predict internal loads
  • Gaining insight into acoustics problems
  • Optimizing durability performance

Its simulation portfolio allows vehicle dynamics engineers to answer challenging issues, such as performing fatigue life predictions on the vehicle suspension components, developing active safety systems, or optimizing stability control while reducing the power consumption.
