The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) launches a brand refresh, alongside a redesigned website and new impact video. These initiatives fit with a strategic effort to unify the organization’s identity, increase stakeholder engagement, and strengthen NCDMM’s national presence, according to the organization.
Moving forward, NCDMM will present itself externally as a single, unified entity—NCDMM—across all platforms and locations. The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation and Integration Center (AMIIC) sub-brand will be phased out, with its mission integrated under the NCDMM name. Flagship programs America Makes and El Paso Makes will continue under NCDMM’s management, maintaining their specialized focus areas.
“Internal and external research confirmed the need for a clearer, more consistent brand,” says Gary Fleegle, chief executive officer of NCDMM. “This refresh allows us to communicate our purpose with greater clarity, reduce market confusion and reinforce the full scope of our national impact.”
In alignment with the updated brand, NCDMM has launched a redesigned website that is intended to deliver a more user-friendly, accessible experience for partners, stakeholders and the advanced manufacturing community. The upgraded platform offers:
Complementing the website launch is a new impact video telling NCDMM’s story. The video introduces NCDMM’s leadership role in boosting innovation for the defense industrial base. Watch the video HERE.
“With seven locations supporting diverse initiatives, our digital presence plays a vital role in strengthening relationships and delivering timely, relevant information,” says Jim Fisher, chief operating officer of NCDMM. “The refreshed website and brand identity position us to better serve our stakeholders and scale our impact.”
