Engineering PLM Solutions announced that RuleDesigner Configurator, a tool for product and process configuration, now includes an integration for NX.

According to the company, RuleDesigner Configurator drives the user to focus on the most important product-related information rather than on CAD extensive capabilities. Processes can perform procedures for automatic part number renaming and renumbering, for analyzing relationships, and for automatically extracting BOMs.

The NX user community can leverage RuleDesigner Configurator to run processes aimed at automating the product design stage and getting 3D models, assemblies, drawings, drafts and technical documents of any type, the company says.
