ABViewer 16.2 from CADSoftTools is now available. This minor update includes updates to key features, a new selection tool and performance improvements designed to provide an enhanced overall user experience.

What's new in ABViewer 16.2:

  • Improved PDF to DWG/DXF conversion.
  • 2D improvements:
    • Improved import of DWG and DXF formats.
    • Improved export to DWG and DXF formats.
  • 3D improvements:
    • Improved import of STEP and ACIS (SAT, SAB) formats.
  • G-code generation improvements:
    • Improved equidistant line construction algorithm.
    • Improved user interface.
  • Editor mode improvements:
    • Added the Select Similar tool for quickly selecting objects of the same type (select an object, right-click and choose Select Similar).
    • Improved the Offset tool algorithm.
      • Improved snapping behavior.
  • Other improvements:
    • Improved XML API.
    • Bug fixes and performance improvements.
