CAE (Montreal, Quebec) unveiled Presagis (Richardson, TX), its new modeling and simulation software company, which is formed from the combined acquisitions of Engenuity Technologies, MultiGen-Paradigm and TERREX and an existing CAE commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software team.

"Presagis is in line with CAE's long-term strategy to create a single, unified, COTS simulation software business," said Marc Parent, CAE's Group President, Simulation Products and Military Training & Services.

Presagis offers a solid portfolio of technologies including S-Mission, STAGE Scenario, and AI.implant, its artificial intelligence solution; visualization tools such as Vega Prime and Lyra; Terra Vista and Creator, terrain and 3D content software; and the VAPS product family of human-machine interface development tools. Existing industry standards developed by Presagis, such as OpenFlight and TerraPage, will continue to be cornerstones of the Presagis technology portfolio.

By offering a unified product portfolio, Presagis will simplify the procurement and support of COTS modeling and simulation software for the aerospace and defense industry. The company's core technologies stand alone in their levels of integration, depth of functionality, and compliance with industry standards.

Presagis will operate as three entities: Presagis Canada (Montreal, Quebec), Presagis USA (Richardson, TX) and Presagis Europe (Velizy, France).

For details, contact Presagis or CAE.
