Caterpillar and StatSoft Announce PROCEED Manufacturing program

The turnkey solution is process intelligence software aimed at modeling manufacturing.

Caterpillar Inc. (Peoria, IL) and STATSOFT Inc.,(Tulsa, OK) have announced PROCEED, a turnkey software solutiondesigned so manufacturing companies can model, optimize, and simulatetheir complex manufacturing processes. The official public showcase ofthe PROCEED software will be held at the American Society for Quality'sWorld Conference on Quality and Improvement in Seattle, Washington fromMay 16-18, 2005.

The PROCEED software is based on the integration of Caterpillar'spatent-pending analytic processes powered by STATISTICA enterpriseanalytics software. Caterpillar's processes are used to simulate,predict, and optimize the outcome of complex manufacturing processes.
