Creaform Launches New Inspection Software

By DE Editors

May 14, 2015

Creaform has launched VXinspect, a new 3D inspection software that is equipped with tools for FAI (first article inspection) and quality control. The platform, according to the company, provides simple integration for contact and non-contact measurements in numerous manufacturing applications.

The software is designed to be used in combination with the HandyPROBE, MetraSCAN 3D and HandySACN 3D portable measurement devices. It also supports rapid part-to-CAD inspections for pre-production adjustments and production part approval for critical part dimensions. It is fully integrated into VXelements.

In addition to VXinspect, Creaform has also launched the Shop-Floor Workstation and C-Track Shop-Floor Stand. The workstation is designated for increased mobility and access to 3D scanning, programming and photogrammetry systems. The floor stand enables mobility of C-Track dual-camera sensors.
