EnvisionTEC, a provider of 3D printers and materials, has launched the Vector Hi-Res 3SP. The new 3D printer will be able to process a variety of proprietary materials ideal for manufacturers, including ABS Tough, ABS Hi-Impact, E-Glass and E-Tool, which is designed for short-run injection molding of thermoplastics, according to a company press release.

The Vector Hi-Res 3SP has a build envelope of 11.8x6.9x7.9 in., and offers a resolution of 0.002 in. on the X and Y axes. It also includes a standalone PC and touchscreen monitor.

EnvisionTEC has also recently introduced robotic additive manufacturing (RAM) with its RAM 123 system. The RAM 123 uses a unique binder jetting head attached to a multi-axis, high-precision robot arm from ABB to print affordable and detailed sand molds and cores for the foundry industry, EnvisionTEC states.

"EnvisionTEC is a company that provides genuine solutions for manufacturing professionals and the Vector Hi-Res and RAM 123 are the latest examples of our commitment to that mission," said Chief Operating Officer John Hartner.
