Keysight Technologies Launches New Testing Software

By DE Editors

May 13, 2016

Keysight Technologies has introduced the U7243B USB 3.1 transmitter performance validation and compliance test software.

The test software allows authorized test centers to test USB 3.1 Gen2 SuperSpeed Plus 10 Gbps devices with Type-C implementations and gives in-house test and performance validation engineers the tools to ensure devices comply with the USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C specification. It operates on Keysight's Infiniium V-series and Z-series real-time oscillosciopes with bandwidths of 16GHz or higher.

"Keysight actively supports the USB-IF and USB implementers by providing early access to measurement solutions and actively supporting compliance workshops," said Dave Cipriani, vice president and general manager of Oscilloscopes at Keysight. "With the roll out of Type-C and the Gen2 link partner requirements, Keysight provides essential software tools to the USB-IF testing and certification program to ensure a satisfying user interoperability experience."
