Matrox Graphics Inc. (Montreal, Que.) and Xi Graphics, Inc. (Denver,CO) recently announced the release of Sun Solaris x86 (versions 8, 9,and 10) display drivers for Matrox Parhelia, Millennium P-Series, andQID graphics cards. These display drivers were developed to supportadvanced Matrox features including DualHead, TripleHead, quad-display,clone, zoom, and OpenGL acceleration. In December, these companiesannounced similar support for using these graphics cards under Linux,adding to their previous Linux/Solaris support for Matrox G Seriesgraphics cards.

"Partnering with XiGraphics and leveraging their 10 years of experience in Unix/Linuxdevelopment has allowed us to quickly deliver high-quality,feature-rich Solaris display drivers to these important customers."
