Welding Alloys Group, a company in advanced welding consumables,shares a strategic partnership with Meltio, a laser metal deposition technology manufacturer.

This partnership combines Welding Alloys’ expertise in wire manufacturing with Meltio’s laser wire cladding and metal 3D printing systems. 

Welding Alloys Group is known for designing and producing an range of cored welding wires for hardfacing, cladding, and joining applications. In this partnership, Welding Alloys’ specially developed cored wires for laser applications will complement Meltio’s existing materials portfolio.

Welding Alloys will play a key role in developing a supportive ecosystem for Meltio’s technology worldwide. Working with technology centres, machine tool manufacturers, robotic integrators, academic institutions, and industry stakeholders, Welding Alloys will help expand Meltio’s reach and drive new business opportunities, the companies report.
