Consulting firm Razorleaf Corp. (Stow, OH) has expanded its range of PLM/PDM professional services to includeSolidWorksPDMWorks software for managing SolidWorks files exclusively indepartments and workgroups. Services include project management,requirements analysis, installation, configuration, administratortraining, custom applications, and technical support. The move byRazorleaf is intended to fill the expected rapidly growing need forimplementation services for PDMWorks, since the software now is beingbundled as part of all SolidWorks Office products.

PDMWorks is a product data management (PDM) solution fully integratedwithin SolidWorks adapted to managing SolidWorks files. The softwarecaptures revision histories automatically, maintains complex filerelationships, and enables members of the design team to immediatelyaccess required files, determine who worked on them, and see whenchanges were made. The effort is aimed at increasing productivitythrough the efficient reuse of design data, and enhance collaborationacross product development teams using SolidWorks.
