Silentium's (Rehovot, Israel) S-Cube Development Kit allows design engineers to embed Silentium’s proven Active Noise Control (ANC) solution into their own product design easily and efficiently says the company.

Based on Silentium’s proprietary algorithms, design notes, and an easy-to-use interface, design engineers can now quickly design the proper duct, locate the microphone and speaker, and calibrate the ANC system for optimal performance.

Silentium’s innovative ANC technology enables design engineers to reduce broadband noise at the lower audio bandwidth of up to 1500Hz. When combined with acoustic material, Silentium’s solution covers the entire audible spectrum. In fact, implementation of the Silentium ANC solution can support up to 10dB(A) of noise reduction, in addition to conventional methods.

The S-Cube Development Kit contains an Active Noise Control (ANC) DSP-based controller, LCD-based calibrator, microphones and speaker. No computer connection is required and no previous knowledge of acoustics technology is required.
