Altair Launches FEKO Student Competition

By DE Editors

March 31, 2015

Altair has launched its FEKO Student Competition. The contest is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students working in the field of electromagnetic (EM) engineering and using FEKO software.

This competition, according to the company, is ideal for students to showcase their work in FEKO. The prizes include a new laptop computer or attendance to an Altair ATC or ATCx conference series.

“Since FEKO is now part of Altair HyperWorks, the competition is being launched through the Altair academic website which provides us with a much larger audience so we are expecting the competition to be even more popular than in the past,” says Gronum Smith, marketing director, EM Solutions at Altair.  “We receive entries from all over the world and have had winners from England, USA, Spain, South Africa and Italy since the competition began in 2003.”

The deadline for entries is September 30, 2015. Entering the contest is free.
