June 3, 2015

Aras, a provider of PLM (product lifecycle management) software, has revealed the expansion of the Center for Automotive Innovation (CAI) in Detroit.

The CAI, according to the company, combines Aras' advanced PLM platform, open architecture and varied resources to provide automotive OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and suppliers with enterprise solutions. These solutions can help drive innovation and advance development, implementation and adoption of vehicle technology, a press release states.

“We have established the Center for Automotive Innovation to address challenges the industry faces with advanced product and process innovation,” said Peter Schroer, CEO of Aras. Leading the efforts of the CAI is Bill Bone, CTO of Automotive Solutions at Aras.

Aras will be holding an open house for the CAI later this month.
