AspenTech Releases aspenONE 8.8

AspenTech, a provider of optimization software for the process industries, has launched the latest versions of aspenONE Engineering and aspenONE Manufacturing and Supply Chain. This release, according to the company, delivers technology enhancements for operational excellence.

Features in aspenONE version 8.8 include streamlined workflows, safety improvements, accurate methanol partitioning modeling and optimized throughput. The platform also has:

  • Heat Exchanger Design and Rating technology
  • A Cubic Plus Association fluid property package
  • Naphtha Hydrotreater and Alkylation models
  • Smart Tune technology in Aspen DMC3
  • New Campaign Manager in Aspen Plant Scheduler
“The aspenONE V8.8 software release offers significant performance and quality enhancements in several technical areas, including adaptive process control, relief sizing and revalidation, methanol partitioning in hydrocarbon modeling, and a complete suite of refinery reactor models.
