According to the company, Emendo provides users of all skill levels an easy, automatic method of validations. Users can see if their CAD file is saved as a valid manifold. If it is not, the software will automatically repair it.
To use the software, engineers can simply drag and drop a file into the application and it will automatically run validation checks. While routine errors are fixed automatically by the software, remaining errors are highlighted in a 3D display. Users can then save the newly repaired file separately, or have it replace the damaged file.
Version 1.0 for Mac OS will release in September. Windows-supported Emendo will release in November.
