A new textbook, SolidWorks 2006 for Designers, released by CADCIM Technologies(Schererville, IN) explores the latest tools and techniques of thesoftware package, covering all draw commands and options, editing,dimensioning, hatching, plotting, 3D drawing, and customizationtechniques available with the software. The textbook, authored by ShamTickoo of Purdue University, takes both the novice and the advanceduser across a spectrum of engineering solutions through progressiveexamples, comprehensive illustrations, and detailed exercises.

The book consists of 14 chapters arranged in pedagogical sequence.
