Corel has released the latest version of its CAD software. The 2015 version provides tools for 2D and 3D CAD design, support for .DWG files and CorelDRAW graphics and automation capabilities.

New features of CorelCAD include:

  • Drawing Constraints for Windows: Increased drawing precision by applying dimensional constraints.
  • 2D Editing Tools: Maintains attribute values while exploding blocks with ExplodeBlockX module. The DiscardDuplicates functionality simplifies geometry and interactive trim paths.
  • Pop-Up Dimension Palette: Displays dimension text formatting and property settings on screen.
  • Expanded In-Place Text and Table Editing: Creates or modifies existing text with the capability of quickly stacking text and pasting it from Microsoft Word.
  • An updated Windows Ribbon User Interface (UI).
